In 1985, Trusthouse Forte owned Travelodge and opened its first hotel on the A38, (Barton Under Needwood - North of Lichfield), before developing another six roadside hotels in its first year. 85% of bookings online: Rooms are available to book up to 12 months in advance online at www.travelodge.co.uk. There are 2.2 million visitors each month to Travelodge’s booking website.
